E-ZBorrow is a free service that allows you to borrow books from a group of 70 academic libraries, including NYU. You no longer have to go to NYU to borrow circulating books. E-ZBorrow can be accessed through BobCat, the library catalog, from the search results page, or the "GetIt" page for an item. The delivery time is up to one week. Books must be returned to a New School library location.

In addition to New York Public Library, E-ZBorrow and our consortium with NYU, Cooper Union, and NYSID, you can access materials through ILL (interlibrary loan), the METRO referral system, and Request a Purchase. Email us through Ask Us with a citation, and we can refer you to available options.
