The METRO (Metropolitan New York Library Council) Referrals program allows library users from METRO member libraries to have access to another member library’s collections for items not available at their own library or at the New York Public Library.

Consult with a New School Librarian (Ask Us) to confirm that the material is not available at any other public institution in NYC. If not, your librarian will initiate the process with the holding institution for you to visit and view the material.
