As of 2022, The NYU Institute of Fine Arts (IFA) Libraries are open only to IFA students and faculty.

The New School students and faculty may request materials from IFA using these methods:

1.  Interlibrary Loan (ILL). On the library website, library.newschool.edu, drop down "My Account" and click "Interlibrary Loan" to request electronic and physical delivery of articles, book chapters, and books from an extensive network of libraries. Please see this FAQ for additional information about InterLibrary Loan.

2.  Email ifa.library@nyu.edu for scans of articles and book chapters. This service should only be used in special circumstances when material is needed urgently and is not available through The New School, NYU Bobst Library, nor the New York Public Library.
