Search Google Scholar from the library website, library.newschool.edu, to find citations for articles and book chapters.  (For ebooks, search our Ebook databases or Google Books.)

Enter keywords from the article title, author, journal title, and/or abstract.

Google Scholar, along with providing links on the web for citations, will link to our databases if you sign in:

  • On the search results page, click on "SIGN IN" (in the top-right corner) and use your New School NetID and password.
  • Find links to full-text content next to citations.
  • When full-text is not available, please email libhelp@newschool.edu or Ask Us for assistance.

Note to RefWorks users: Want to export citations from Google Scholar to RefWorks? Go to your Settings (click on the "burger menu icon" in the top left corner) to turn this setting on.
