Q. How do I receive text messages regarding library materials?
Signing up for text messaging (SMS) is easy.
1. Navigate to https://search.library.newschool.edu
2. Click on the "Login" button in the upper right corner of the screen. Choose "My Account" and then choose the "Personal Details" Tab. See a screenshot below:
3. Next - Click on the pencil to "Edit Details" (see picture below)
4. Check the "SMS Wanted" checkbox and enter your phone number, with country code (e.g.12125551212). SMS message costs may apply, depending on provider.
5. Please note: By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from The New School Libraries. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
5. Should you wish to stop receiving text messages, simply deselect the "SMS Wanted" checkbox. Messaging preferences are updated daily.
