Q. As an RA or TA, can I check out books on a faculty member's behalf?

Faculty members may request a Proxy Card for their RAs and TAs to check out physical materials. The Proxy Borrower Form may be found here [https://library.newschool.edu/sites/default/files/2022-07/Proxy-Borrower-Form_2016.pdf].

Faculty may request physical materials from partner libraries, Interlibrary Loan (ILL), or New School Libraries locations—including offsite—for Proxy Card holders to pick up and check out. Materials may be returned to any New School Libraries location.
